911-kit

No pain, no gain or the art of recovery!

I’m a wannabe skateboarder and that doesn’t come cheap!

Muscle aches, bruises, road rash and cuts, … you name it, I got it!

Here’s the content of my 911-let’s survive the daily minor injuries!

1. Muscle ache and bruises? Let’s go for the Epsom salt in a hot bath.

Don’t have a bath tub? Just mix the salt with water and apply with on a compress.

2. Bruises? Try the green clay by the Clayers. Apply the clay, like you would spread Nutella on your soft taco and let it dry watching the TV.

3. Road rash? Here comes the green clay again. It works on burns, bugs bites and cuts.

It’s also antibacterial to avoid infection.

You can also use the bag balm on the cuts, road rash or even dry lips.

4. Lumps after a shock? Soak your Dr Cool compression wrap in the water, put in the freezer for 20 minutes and wrap it around the lump. Sizes and colors available!

The KT Tape, for the muscle aches … check their PDF guide depending on where you are hurt to apply the tape appropriately. Keep it 3-7 days. It gives you good support all day long.

5. Also to reduce muscle pain, the compression short from Skins is quite handy.

6. Regarding the shocks in the ankles, knees and hips while trying to land, I trust my PF insoles to reduce the vibrations by 95%!

I hope you won’t need all of this but if you do, you know what to do! Stay safe!

I am definitively cooler! part2

16 Oct

I’ve been using my iceMule cooler for the past 5 weeks so let’s get up close and personal with my personal portable cooler now!

  • No zipper, so it doesn’t break
  • Air insulation, smart!! I just blow some air in the valve and its insulated.
  • Carrying sling, perfect to leave in my room or bring with me on picnics
  • When not in use, I deflate and roll the bag so it fits in my luggage

Oh, I forgot to share a cool detail, the Icemule floats!!

I must admit that I’m an happy camper, even if I don’t camp.
